Du bist in eine finanzielle Notsituation geraten.
Du weißt nicht, wie Du Deine nächste Miete, eine Arztrechnung, den Krankenkassenbeitrag oder Semesterbeitrag bezahlen sollst und brauchst schnell und (relativ) unbürokratisch Hilfe. Dann vereinbare einen Termin und komm zur Sozialberatung. Nicht nur, aber besonders für internationale Studierende.

Wichtige Hinweise für die Notfallhilfen für Studierende:

Es können nur Studierende der Dortmunder Hochschulen und der FH Südwestfalen eine Unterstützung beantragen. Ausgenommen sind dabei Teilnehmer der Deutschkurse und Schüler des Studienkollegs. Finanzielle Unterstützung kann nur im Abstand von einem Jahr gewährt werden und in den ersten drei Semestern kann nur einmal eine Hilfe beantragt werden.

Die Notfallhilfe beträgt ca 300 Euro und muss NICHT zurückgezahlt werden.
Komm, bevor es zu spät ist! Versuche frühzeitig einen Termin zu vereinbaren. Manchmal verzögert sich die Gewährung der Notfallhilfe durch fehlende Papiere oder die nötige Bearbeitungszeit.
 
Bitte bringen Sie zur Beratung die unten aufgeführten Unterlagen in Kopie mit.

  • Antragsformular Sozialberatung.pdf

  • Kontoauszüge der letzten drei Monate (nach Datum sortiert, vollständig bis zum aktuellen Datum)
  • Aktuelle Studienbescheinigung
  • Notenspiegel ab dem 3. Semester
  • Pass und ggf. Anmeldungen für Abschlussarbeiten
  • Belege der Krankenkasse, TU, FH, mit den jeweiligen Adressen und Bankverbindungen
  • Mietvertrag mit Adresse des Vermieters und Bankverbindung

Emergency financial aid - not only, but especially for international students

Are you in a financial emergency? You don't know how to pay your next rent, a doctor's bill, the health insurance contribution or the semester fee? You need help quickly and (relatively) unbureaucratically? Then come to the Catholic University Community! Here you can get advice and financial support in emergency situations.

Important information: Only students of Dortmund universities and the FH Südwestfalen can apply for assistance. Participants of the German courses and students of the Studienkolleg cannot apply for financial support. Financial support can only be granted at intervals of one year and a maximum of three times during the entire course of study. In the first three semesters, assistance can only be applied for once.

Come before it's too late! Try to make an appointment early. Sometimes the granting of emergency assistance is delayed due to missing papers, the necessary processing time or because of high demand for appointments. You don't have to pay back the money you get!

 

Documents required for counselling:

  • valid passport/residence permit
  • completed counselling form and signed data protection declaration 
  • bank statements for the last three months (complete)
  • current certificate of study
  • transcript of grades (from the 3rd semester)
  • if applicable, tenancy agreement with landlord's address and bank details
  • if applicable, receipts from the health insurance company, bills, reminders, etc. with the respective addresses and bank details
